scraps Surfing is a funny game, nice south facing scraps to be had but hardly anybody out. Guess all the vacation days are used up! What is better fighting hundreds of surfers for a wave on an epic day or grabbing all the leftovers you can eat the next day? Just a couple, Coast Guard station...

Couple more from yesterday AM Cristobal swells Three more from yesterday, trying to head back out today to catch some remnant shots....D300 loaded up with fresh card and vertical grip, 70-300 VR strapped on. No posts from the left coast yesterday? No Nikonites out taking pics? Hard to believe...

One more, the most important thing, scope it before you drop in!! (the rock garden thing is a recent Rhode Island fav, they are all over Narragansett, especially at the Pier up the road a bit....also a hot surf spot, tho usually more tame, I have pics from Narragansett Beach, will post some soon...

OK I will do a few more to get us going!! Next year I ride every day and I am going to surf like this guy on my mini mal! Ha ha! Please post up your surf pics!

I didn't see a surfing thread so since Point Judith was firing last couple days here in lil Rhody thought I would start one!! Please contribute some surfalogy! A special thanks to Hurricane Cristobal for the "swell" wave action! All pics taken either Nikon D700 or D300 with Nikon 70-300 AF VR...

About 300 pics to go thru but here are a few focusing on the folks enjoying Cristobal at Point Judith RI. Tough mid morning light.....but the action kept me shooting! I'll get some more up later focusing more on the action. PJ was firing!
