    scraps Surfing is a funny game, nice south facing scraps to be had but hardly anybody out. Guess all the vacation days are used up! What is better fighting hundreds of surfers for a wave on an epic day or grabbing all the leftovers you can eat the next day? Just a couple, Coast Guard station...

No posts from the left coast yesterday? No Nikonites out taking pics? Hard to believe...

    One more, the most important thing, scope it before you drop in!! (the rock garden thing is a recent Rhode Island fav, they are all over Narragansett, especially at the Pier up the road a bit....also a hot surf spot, tho usually more tame, I have pics from Narragansett Beach, will post some soon...

    About 300 pics to go thru but here are a few focusing on the folks enjoying Cristobal at Point Judith RI. Tough mid morning light.....but the action kept me shooting! I'll get some more up later focusing more on the action. PJ was firing!

    Nikon Capture NX-D freeware thread - Who's using and comments thoughts?

    4 Pics shot today processed with NX-D If I recall correctly saturation and exposure were tweaked slightly on all four and all were cropped. Nikon D300 w Nikkor 70-300 AF VR f 4.5/5.6 Cross posted from the 70-300 thread today. My unique Picasa/ capture NX-D workflow described in this thread...
