Played around with light trails for the weekly challenge last weekend while in Chicago. Wish I had brought my cable release with me, but the self timer seemed to do a good enough job of it.

VR is vibration reduction. Just like @Bikerbrent mentioned, it can help you use a slower shutter speed in order to have a brighter exposure than the shutter speed you would need on a lease that did not have VR. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
