I was playing around with your image and I think a little warmth and saturation/vibrance seemed to bring it out a bit. (I hope you don't mind). Edit - I also added a little contrast via the tone curve

Does anyone know how to turn the "blinky" thing on the D800 so that clipped portions of your image will blink red when you review them on the LCD screen? TIA

USD at Night 4 exposure HDR - not quite sure why the sky came out so blotchy. Maybe it's the marine layer fog that was not consistent throughout all the exposures?

This is about the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. I especially like the split screen where you can see what the black spots (what we're seeing with our eyes) translates to in other frequencies. I only wish they would slow the video down a little bit so I wouldn't be forced to keep...

You need at minimum a shutter speed equal to or greater than 1/1000, a fast focusing macro, no fear of a high ISO and a whole lot of patience. I went thru a "bee's in flight" kick and spent way too many hours hanging around these lavender flowers .

I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can change the way my D800 wakes up. For instance, I would like the multi-selector to cause the wake up instead of having to partially depress the shutter release button. So far I've not come across anything that will allow you to reassign the wake up function...

Although I made this image yesterday it looks like it could have been made 150 yrs ago.
