I am on my holiday trip to Japan now. Have been trying to purchase a used D600 or D610 but wasn't successful with my bid as I am not prepared to pay more. Will still rely on my faithful D300 for this trip. Let's see the result in a week time. Cheers

Hi, I read vry good reviews about this lens. Due to the range, it shod be a very good general walk about lens if you are able shoot at high ISO. Anyone here willing to share their experience and why they still prefer the f2.8 lenses?

I realised the price for pre owned D600/D610 is almost close to D7200. While the D610 (D600 no more retail) is almost double of D7200 when new. What are the reasons? Too many people letting go of the D600/D610?

If both are for DX, the f2.8 will come in handy when you need that lower light condition. This is one using the Tokina 11-16 taken recently.

Went to Perth, Australia last week. Used by D300 paired with Tokina 11-16 f2.8 ver2. I am satisfied with the result.
