Are there any users of a Nero Trigger here on the forum?

I've been asked to write a review on the Nero Trigger (see NeroTrigger) and it has finally arrived today. But before I get started, I'm wondering if anyone else has had any experience with it (not to mention help if I get stuck). Ideally I'd like to add to the review comments from others here on...

    1 V3 dissected by DxOMark

It doesn't look like Nikon is going to get a home run out of this one, either. DxOMark dissects Nikon 1 V3, sees no great improvement from previous generations

    300mm f/2.8G + 1.7 TC + D800E = early returns

Well, my monster of a lens arrived safely yesterday and today I was able to take her out for a test drive. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy here so all these images were taken at ISO 400. I've got them broken down into the whole image followed by a crop. There not much PP on these shots and...

    D800 without tripod

With a little practice you can take very slow images while hand holding your camera. Be sure to have your elbows tucked in to give added support and like shooting a rifle, take a deep breath and slowly let it out as you gently squeeze the shutter release. This image below was shot at 1/30 sec...

Here's an image using my new D800E and 300mm lens w/ 1.7TC (hand held, I've not set up my gimbal yet). I'm loving the bokeh this lens produces, very creamy and smooth

    Early D800E results

The first real shot from my new D800E. One early observation is the shutter sound is different. There's a subtle noise it makes, almost a very quick whistle, that my 800 does not make. This shot was taken with my 70-300mm wide open at f/5.6 and at only 1/125 sec and I've not yet tuned this lens...

    D600 sales banned in China

Ouch.... "The debacle started when the China Central Television show “3.15″ (sort of like 60 minutes) not only accused Nikon of selling a defective product — something the company has pretty much admitted to at this point — but also featured hidden camera footage of employees denying returns...

Amazon Prime cost increase. Got my letter today

I received my price increase letter today and not sure what I think. $99 may be near my tipping point. Given that most of my purchases are well over the minimum "free shipping" level, not sure whether this so-called service is cost effective any longer. Yes, the free movies they provide to prime...

This is the northern most section of the Beartooth mountain range. The highway that leads to the northeastern entrance to Yellowstone park, highway 212, closes just below Red Lodge. This is the view you get looking south when you walk up about a mile and a half above where the road is closed.
