The moon shot hand held on a paddle wheeler going down the Mississippi River. Nikon D7100, 18-140 zoom Hand held. I was on a dinner cruise out of New Orleans and the moon was so beautiful and I only had my 18-140 with me so I decided to shoot it anyway.

Made it to New Orleans and will be here all week. Fun.

Went to the Blue Angels air show today in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Was overcast all day but did manage to get some decent shots anyway. Here are a few to start with. I shot close to 1,000 shots so it is going to take a little while to week through them.

Got my Sensor Gel Stick by Eyelead in from Amazon today. Just watched a video on using it. It all looks pretty easy. I have had one spot on my D7100 that shows up on the sky and have been having to remove it in ACR so it does need cleaning. I am going to go out tomorrow and shoot the sky at f16...

The wife and I are going to be in New Orleans for a few days soon and was hoping there was someone here that is from the area that could point us to the best places to visit, photograph and eat. I see all the tourist areas but I know locals really know better.
