Im going to put my 2 cents in. I too only like certain pics in hdr. When I started doing it myself I experimented with it. Last year when I had my postcards done I did them hdr style. But not enough to blow out the picture. Here is an example.You dont have to go overboard.

I turned on my flash this morning and it kept showing me to use manual mode. It wouldnt let me shoot in TTL. At first i thought it was the camera. It did it on my other one too. I went and cleaned the contacts and it works fine now.

I attempted this one last week. The program I use starts you out by layering the photos and setting up a few adjustments. After that you have to adjust through photo fix to get what you want. It takes a little longer.

We had a storm roll in last night. This cluster caused a tornado about 10 miles away. I took a shot of the cloud and noticed a face in it.
