Day 10: Retiring at the end of February!!

It's going to be tough with those lenses. If you have at least a mono pod to steady the camera I would go a slower speed. If the lighting is good you might be OK. If you know someone with a 35mm or 50mm lens borrow that. Here is a shot I took at a play using my 50mm @ f1.8, speed 1/250, ISO 800.

I got this 70-300 Quantaray lens last year. It does OK. It can also be set at 300 macro. I went and adjusted my AF fine tune at the macro setting. One picture is a beer cap at around 8-9ft and the sweater is a little farther.

Day 7: I was trying to get a shot of my great niece and she kept hiding and running. I got her to look by telling her to look at my big nose.

I do play with photo shop sometime. I figured the icicle needed help. Here is before the enhancement.

Day 5: I thought I would go out for a few minutes. Got a shot of this icicle and I noticed dust spots I had to remove. So, I decided to play a little.

Day 3: I don't mind my job and the extreme weather. You just have to know how to dress. My feet were dry and I was warm. The wind chill was -15 degrees.

day 2: nothing fancy. I just got home from work. Here are my wet boots and socks that I wore all day.
