    Hark 2019

Seagull on a walking path near the parking area. I parked somewhat close and grabbed my camera. As soon as walked to the passenger side of the car, it decided to walk further away. Taken for this week's Road Challenge. This is near Pennsbury Manor...the former homestead of William Penn.

    AD200 flash patterns

I have a Godox 47" octabox which seems to be made very well. I bought this after hearing a Scott Kelby recommendation for a comparable Westcott Rapid Box. The problem was the Westcott had some negative reviews with broken ribs. There is also an optional Godox grid available for the octabox...

    Post Your D7200 Photos

@Zeppelin33 nice captures with the owl and the eagle. But why did you raise your shutter speed so high?

How do I change things in my profile??

This *should* be the link to your profile where you make the changes. At least it is the link for mine--if I remember correctly, it is more of a universal link so should take everyone to their own profile page to make changes. https://nikonites.com/profile.php?do=editprofile#axzz5gdp9jUJJ...

Lackluster light today but a very still lake. Framed up this image and was immediately reminded of an audio track. ;)

    Hark 2019

I decided to do a family portrait session. Actually I saw one of the Totem Poles first before the tree stumps. Wish the vines weren't so prominent on the one totem pole. It was on private property with a big NO TRESPASSING sign so I wasn't going to try and remove any vines. ;)

    Post your latest purchases.

I picked up a Black Rapid Sport strap so the camera can rest on my left side. I wasn't aware they made them for left side use. The one I've been using can be worn on either side, but I really wanted the tether to keep the shoulder pad from moving.

    Tamron 100-600mm or Sigma 150-600mm?

@Woodyg3 don't you have the Tamron G2? I know you had issues with the first version of that lens.

    Post your Raptors

All of these are cropped - however, this first one is a very heavy crop. I swear I see a resemblance to Chewbacca with its head. ;)

    ACR to PCC glitch?

I just got a new D7200 to use exclusively with my 300mm lens so I can use a zoom lens with my other D7200. I wouldn't have gotten another one other than Nikon is doing away with the second card slot in the D7500. Here is the first image taken with the new body. The file name is changed to NIK...

Post your favorite January shot 2019

I can't decide which one I like better. This was my first time using Auto-ISO. Apparently when I tried to increase my exposure with the +/- button at some point, I didn't have the button pressed in enough. So instead of raising my exposure, rotating the rear wheel simply increased my shutter...

Look! No benches!!! ;) Chemtrail over the park's lake in the first image and a view from the park's fishing pier in the second. These should get me caught up to date now.

And guess what today's subjects might be? Yes, MORE benches. ;)

    Hark 2019

February 1st brought us more snow. I used my Think Tank Emergency Cover for protection from the snow. I'm still waiting for my local store to get the medium size back in stock. The small size fits my Nikon 24-120mm f/4 VR very well (which is what was used here) but wouldn't be long enough to use...

    Hark 2019

January 30th brought us fog and a surprise snow squall. These are 2 different memorial benches on opposite sides of the lake. The first image shows a dense fog. In the second image, the fog cleared off the land somewhat although was still thick out over the lake.

    Hark 2019

The next morning, I was out when the temperature was only 4 degrees. ::what:: It was immensely cold. Here is another example of a Noah Sky. This lantern is hanging next to a different bench at the park. Despite the frigid temps, the sunrise was spectacular. It was cloudy, and while the sun...

    Hark 2019

This is from January 28th. I like to take photos of the memorial benches to share with the grieving families. They appreciate knowing others pay attention to their loved ones benches. This bench is in memory of an infant named Noah. When their family sees a pastel sky, they call it Noah's Sky...

    Hark 2019

This was from the next day. I'm not sure whether this is a small tree trunk or a vine.
