Three from today. One is a female red-winged blackbird - might even be the same one I asked about the other day. It was also taken at the same park in the same area. Next up is a Robin. And this is either a moth or a butterfly. Since the body is somewhat thick, I'm guessing a moth. :confused:

This is another shot of the female Red-Winged Blackbird. I had trouble accepting the ID the other day because the females we get in our yard aren't quite so prominently streaked. And here is a robin. It must have recently taken a bath. Looks like it is sporting a mohawk. ;)

That's definitely a better resemblance in the beak than many of the images I've viewed. Here's mine for comparison. Thanks!

I think I've identified it after reading this article. It looks like the mystery bird in their pics. The shape of the beak is the same as is the streaking. It looks like a juvenile cowbird. We get cowbirds at our feeder, but I've never seen one looking like this...

I am trying to ID this bird. I'm in Pennsylvania outside of Philly. When I searched via the Merlin app, the closest thing it looks like is a Song Sparrow from the Pacific Northwest - but that's on the other side of the country. It looks too striped to be a song sparrow that is normally found...
