Very much thinking about this glass, Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR. How much of a bump in clarity is this over my 55-300? Sounds like it is a good investment. I found one used in mint condition for 450.00. Or go new and get the warranty for 600.00 Any wisdom would be appreciated.

Ok folks. I have a used but in perfect shape BosTail. Works great for attaching your clip on sling to a lug on your camera, freeing up your Tripod socket. The first one that posts a picture of the strap they're going to use gets it free. CONUS only though.

I want to get a prime lenses. But I'm not sure which to get. I want something that can do portrait, urban shooting (buildings and such), museums, and some landscape. I'm thinking the 85mm Nikon might do the trick. Thoughts?
