    Got my Z8

I love the Z5. I helped two folks from church to buy and setup Z5s. it was so much like my Z6… I still use it some. The Z5 and 6 both do so well in low light.

    Got my Z8

I am pretty much a stills only guy. I kind of went at it testing it out before I made the commitment to a few hours to set up everything. i Do like how when we switch to video and back you only flip the switch and I am back to my photo settings. You might want to reach out to these guys and...

    Got my Z8

It is intense. I did mine following Hudson Henery's video. It is long, but he is thorough. I also set up four memory banks: Walk Around, Church, BIF, and Moon. One of the best settings I took from this was using the buttons on the Z Lenses to switch from Wide Area to 3D focus when tracking...

    Thinking of purchasing a Z9

I think you will be pleased. All of the Z glass has been impressive to me. I am kind of anxious to see how the 200 f2 does on the Z9. That lens in your hands have always been amazing to me.

Steve Perry Preliminary Review of Firmware Update 4.1

I quit looking at discussions about Nikon mirrorless a few months after my Z6. it did take me a while to figurethe systems out, and firmware updates helped, but I love my Z6. The Z8 is amazing. I am happy. My experience has Sony folks and those who switched because of th Z6 was not a D500...

This memory card cannot be used card may be damaged

I ran into this when helping a friend. She had any compatible card. Just as a last effort I went to the manual and the card she had was not in the list. I got a card from the list. it started working. I was surprised to say the least.

Steve Perry Preliminary Review of Firmware Update 4.1

I was impressed with the improvement he saw. I think, now that the update is out, it will be interesting to see what he thinks with more time to review it.

I really like. It is very sharp and stays on my Z8. I am glad I bought it. It has taken the place of my 24-70 f2.8 when I am out. I still us the 24-70 at church.

    Post your latest purchases.

I had pre-ordered this lens and today, my Camera store called me and said it was in. I was NOT going to do it... I was just going to check it out... I lied to myself. the 200-500 is longer and bigger around and heavier. I was very disappointed when I saw the tripod foot. I had hoped the...

    Thinking of purchasing a Z9

There is a larger battery in the Z9. I use a Z8, and it is decent on battery life. It is better than my Z6, and I think it is better because of the same menus and focus systems as the Z9. It is referred to as a mini Z9. I love the Z8. I have to believe the battery life should be good in long...

    Zf Released!

This is quite a camera with a floppy screen, 8 stops IBIS, 24 MEGA BITE Sensor, pixel shift fz8 and z9 focus system, and 8 stops IBIS. This is a good video. Matt Irwin likes Z tech as much as I do with an amazing budget. $2000 US
