Sigh.... unexpected upgrades over & above the 2tb internal hard drive I bought for storage.
With my i7 Windows 7 32bit pc with 4gb RAM, I'm having issues with Lightroom & there's some photos it won't even export as JPG as it claims there's not enough memory. Not entirely true according to task...
I'm aiming to improve my social marketing for my photography business & need to set up a Facebook page.
There are several options with no advice or information as to which option is most suited. Could anyone advise?

My neckstrap is still in it's bag & I don't intend to use it. I currently use a Blackrapid wrist strap.
Do other owners remove the strap lugs on the camera or just leave them flapping about?
I'm still using the supplied BM-12 monitor cover. Assuming that I still wish to protect the rear monitor, but with something less bulky, what do others use?
This is an indoor candid shot taken today of a friend & neighbour during his first use of an iPad. I love the bewildered expression! I think the background in particular is poor, how could I improve this?
I have applied some mild PP in LR as the shot had some noise.
I am using ISO 100 as my base & generally have ISO on auto.
Should I be using ISO 64 as my base, or continue with ISO 100?
My photography includes macro, close-up & landscape.
Thanks for your replies. I think we have a result!
I've just been doing a test pack & my camera bag full of gear fits inside my carry-on. The small aircraft has no overhead lockers, so carry-ons are not likely to be allowed in the cabin. However what I can do is after check-in, I can remove the...
I've just started packing for my holiday/vacation.
The trip involves a short 40 minute flight, then a car rental. I have one check-in bag & one carry-on, although as it will be a small aircraft I am likely to have to put the carry-on in the hold at the point of boarding the plane. I have a...
I'm sure that many forum members don't have the available time to run a 365 thread, or perhaps they don't want to feel that they *have* to post something - even if it's not particularly special. I'd like to post in a 365 type thread where I can gauge my shots & get some feedback, but I'd only...
I've used the wrist strap each time I've been out with my camera. The strap does give a lot of confidence that the camera isn't going to slip from my grasp & it is completely out of the way from the camera controls & operation. Attaching is quick & easy, although the rubber washer makes me feel...
My laptop has an SD card reader, but not a CF reader. With space & weight restrictions for travelling, I'd like to avoid taking my bulky CF reader on vacation. Is there a way to transfer files from the camera CF card to the SD card?
@aroy
Thanks for your reply. The laptop has 1.2gb RAM, so is not suited for any editing. This is just for viewing the images & maybe the odd adjustment.
