    Hi All, 'bout time I started a new thread. I just had a visit from this Rock Wallaby. Taken through the glass on one of the doors on my house, he was about 12 feet away from me. Seems to be problems with loading images, I had to use the basic uploader to get this one to load.

    Wattle Cap Caterpillars. Whatever you do, don't touch those spines. I found out the hard way when my hand brushed up against one while taking the photos. They say its 3 times more painful than a Wasp bite, ::what::, that sounds about right Oz.

    I swapped the Tamron 150-1600 with the Sigma 50-150 to get a shot of this Wallaby through the window. I walked outside and saw 2 on the log on the other side of the house, I managed to get close enough for a few shots at 150 without scaring them off.

    My wife found some of our old 35mm film negatives today. I would like to convert some of them to digital.     Lately I have been taking photos by shooting through my kitchen window with the Tamron 150-600, this avoids frightening the wildlife. I was worried the image quality would suffer because I was shooting through the glass. It doesn't seem to degrade the photo much at all. Young Rock Wallaby...
