I did this one last night for my facebook peeps as I knew no one would catch how bad it really is. Rules for Nikonites 1. You are not allowed to look at this photo for more than 2.3 seconds. 2. No Pixel Peeping 3. That is all.

9/15/2013 (Early Morning) Went out to shoot some stars, but the clouds messed that all up. That's not the important thing here though. What's important is that I think I finally figured out the whole white balance things with star photos. That's the important lesson of the day!

Couldn't find anything to shoot, I must be going brain dead. So I waited until it got dark, thought I'd go outside to see if I could shoot some stars tonight. That's a bust too, as this giant light polluting bulb was turned on tonight.

There's a little light from the church about 3/4 mile away from me. I let it autofocus on that, then flip it to manual and don't touch the focus ring. That's the only thing different that I do that hasn't already been said here. I think the biggest thing to shooting the sky at night is to...

9/14/2013 I'm not real motivated today after straining my brain to get the house back up on some internet action. I might go out later and take a photo of something, but if not, here's our internet connection now. It's also sad that this is way faster than the internet connection we usually...
