    which is the better image

    i shot this on a very shadowy day with low sun and trees, so lots of shadows. the colour is very close to how it was shot and looked in real life, for this i actually like the colour. I edited it today to make a Black n white and more detail popped up obviously, i like the extra details in BnW...

    tripods for 150-600C

    So until I can afford a dedicated tripod for my gimble I’ve taken the used broken tripod I made the mistake of buying and cut it up to make a short column I can leave on the gimble base and just swap columns in the field or at home

    the tripod i currently use although good spares are getting difficult, it also has a very small platform and i had to purchase an older one to get a larger platform to support the Gimbal head, its also not the lightest of items. looking at current tripods i cant decide whether i need a column...

    well another month waiting won't hurt , my poor pooch has the need of a vet and she may have to go to sleep to have it sorted, she's everything and kept me going through all the garbage in life so off to the vet tomorrow to see what can be done, fingers crossed its a simple issue :(
