Ok, so I am looking at maybe getting a used D3 down the road. I want honest feedback in regards to shooting ISO's in the range of 3200 and 6400. How grainy is it?

I was on vacation in south Georgia shooting a drag racing event.

Just wondering what everyone's preference is when it comes to circular polarizing filters. So far I have had pretty good luck with the Hoya's that I am using. Decent cost with solid results.

Those were some of the worse performances I have ever seen. The only ones worth watching were Adele and Jennifer Hudson!

The photographers on here that run your own business and sell photos and photo shoots, do you operate under an LLC or do you work as a sole proprietor? With the amount of sue happy people in the US now a days I was thinking that the only way I would start a business is if it were an LLC.

I am going on a family vacation this summer in July to the Outter Banks and looking for some suggestions on what to do and also where to photograph Thanks

So I went out shooting this weekend with the lens. Damn it's a great lens. Very sharp. Haven't done much with the flash. I will have to read the manual to figure everything out on that. Here is a shot from this weekend at 300mm 1/500 f/5.6

I got bored yesterday so I went out and bought the 70-300 VR ED lens and a new SB-700

Yes I know it's mounted to a Canon...but you get the idea
