Just by chance and totally unprepared I come across this leopard happily rolling in the grass 5 minutes from my camp. Almost missed the scene and just happened to look down by the vehicle.

Im used to seeing lions and cheetahs on a daily basis on safari. Over the years I've probably encountered at least 40 leopards and got to know them so well that the park rangers gave me the honor to name one a few years back. My record was spotting three in one day but that was extremally lucky...
Male lion with a buffalo breakfast. Just found him sitting quietly I expect the hyenas will be around soon

My first Travel shoot with the Z9 so thought id join the group and say. Mostly you will see my work in the wildlife forum shot with various DSLRs.
One of the many things I love is the flexibility with the resolution of the files. I probably got 4 or 5 single nice crops from this one first image...
My first Travel shoot with the Z9. Absolutely love the quality, the high res allowed me to get a lots of usable crops with no loss of detail

An old but memorable encounter around the first corner from my camp. We actually headed back to warn a walking group that was heading out.

The poster shot, Africa's biggest mammal and biggest Mountain. Would have been nice to get it 30 years earlier when the peak had more snow.
