I got the Nikon coolpix A which will be my travel pocket camera now.

Scott - I have similar obsession with Eneloop batteries. I think I am good for now. I'm considering in getting the 8 cell charger.

I would suggest an ultra wide angle lens such as the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. Looking at some of the hotels that we stayed in the Philippines during our vacation, these were taken with a 24-70mm f2.8 lens at 24mm which is the equivalent of 16mm on a DX. I hope this will help a bit.

Thanks Guys. I think I finally found the right pocket sized camera that can take the Nikon flash and perform similar to the DSLR. Additional people shots.

Some landscape shots from today and a close up macro shot mode. Not bad for a point and shoot camera.

Got it at a very good price (new). This will be my new pocket camera that accepts Nikon flash in iTTL mode. Perfect travel camera.

I'm not sure what this flower is called, but I kinda like it.

This is not the best computer out there, it is a 3 year old computer but it still runs well. It is not neat but not too cluttered.
