Has anyone here signed up to Picr? I have had a quick look and who knows if it will help me at the moment. Seems to be another new fangled software to help get bookings and aid in marketing.... PICR I have put my email down to see what it might offer... but still not convinced at this stage.

Howdy, did a fun shoot yesterday afternoon with a couple. Weather was freezing, but she was a great sport seeing as she wasn't wearing a whole lot for some of the maternity shots. Sneak Peek slideshow here... I will post some actual full res images up when I get home...

Had a super fun - albeit - freezing cold afternoon with the delightful Jaci yesterday. Jaci and Mike were married a year ago and she wanted some better wedding images - I didn't shoot her wedding - and then she wanted to do a trash the dress shoot... It was awesome.

So did my first baby shoot, had all wonderful idea's of poses - most are based on the baby being asleep - enter first problem..... Baby was pretty much awake all shoot. Oh well, the lighting was ok and I am sure the folks will be happy with their shots, but it just wasn't what I had pictured at...

Something a bit different for me. I have been involved in amateur theatre since forever... I was approached by a member of The old Mill Theatre to take some pics - some for front of house, some for the program etc... These are a 2 flash setup. 1 45 degrees to the subjects right and one at 90...

So I finally capitulated to my Mac telling me to upgrade to Yosemite last night. All of my Nik software no longer works and my photoshop doesn't work. I need to reinstall all my lightroom plugins. All of my Nik stuff is telling me my trial period has ended?? And the photoshop comes up with...

So shooting a wedding on Saturday just gone, 1 D4 gets the 24-70mm f2.8, my other one gets the 70-200mm f2.8 VRII as per usual. Shoot the wedding fine, shoot the location shoot fine. Get to the reception. I usually swap the 70-200 over for my 85mm f1.4. I like having those extra stops, means...
