31 July Despite @Roy1961's fair warning, I had to go to the Arb today to pick up some native wildflower seeds. Luckily, the Pokies are as lazy as they are lifeless, so the crowds didn't arrive until after 9:00.

Next time go down to the sycamores past the ball fields (see map). There were several females hunting seed on the ground and at least six males strutting their stuff, trying to impress. This has been their main party place for the last couple of years
