This is the 2nd Olive python that I came across. The first quickly got off the road and went for a swim. Here you can roughly see the size of it.

Well this morning I got up at 02:30am and decided to go to Fogg Dam, I had a few ideas of what I wanted and one turned out. I was alone and had to be watchful of Salt water crocodiles. I saw 4. Ok this first photo is a bad one but gives you an idea of where I went.

And this was my sunrise :) lets see who can spot the crocodile ;)

Great Egret prancing around. Not sure if you can see it but there is a mosquito at the back of his head. Just incase you cannot see it here is a close up, another reason why I love my D800E.

This is a Salt water crocodile I spotted around 4, but its the ones you do not see that you have to watch out for.

Well this mornings trip to Fogg Dam was well worth it I think I got some good images. This is an Olive Python who was in the middle of the road. I went to pick him up and move him (they normally are placid) but this one got a bit angry so I ended up pushing him with my boot, he got the hint...

Re: Wud's project 365 I use my onboard flash with a foam diffuser if you have a look through the macro thread you can find examples of this, I am about to head out (02:30am) for a walk and hope to get some macro and bird life. @Vixen if you have any questions regarding the set up both myself...
