44th Anniversary of the Kent State Shootings is a few days away.

Do you remember the song "1969 - The best year of my life." ? Well, it was. And I spent it here. And I never even played a guitar. "Summer Of '69" by Bryan Adams...

44th Anniversary of the Kent State Shootings is a few days away.

I doubt that there are very many on campus, including professors, who were even alive when the shootings occurred (Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young "Four Dead in Ohio"). So, beyond the annual memorial services, Kent State is a beautiful and fun place to be. A lot of things have changed over the...

44th Anniversary of the Kent State Shootings is a few days away.

Visited Kent State today. I am an alumnus of KSU and studied there from 1968 to 1975. I really loved that town. The 44th anniversary of the National Guard shootings occurs on May 4th. The photos depict the area where the shooting and dying occurred. The locations of the four deaths are...

If there was a street going through the middle of the JAKE, these could be be considered street photography. The Tribe has some big fans and my 80-400VR found some of them.

Fun with Architecture. During the game today, I became bored with baseball player photos. The 80-400VR is fun. This was a natural collage. Oh, and by the way.... here are the Victors! I just realized I inadvertently posted this in the train thread. It was supposed to go into my...

    Nikkor 80-200 f.28D

I have one and I like it very much. It takes some very sharp photos with very nice bokeh. It is a great portrait lens and it works well for long distance landscapes. I paid $600 and it was pristine in the box with all the accessories.
