OK then I'll post my "SKY" 2 picture. Just after I posted my entry to the weekly "SKY" challenge, the sky just got better. So I switched lens and got this one for my daily pic, since the Santa was shot last sunday.

Just fresh from my D700 and front door view: God's playing Tic-Tac-Toe again.

It's coming in your neighborhood soon. :)

Here's my first shot for this thread, And since we seem to have run out of people that posted "likes", I'll take the risk of calling someone who hasn't posted "likes" yet... So I nominate Ruidoso Bill and @STM and ask them to participate in this little exercice.

November 9th, a few shots from my walk with the D7000 and 50 1.8 D Remembrance Day Room with a view

This 180 2.8 is a real surprise for me. I never thought a lens could be so sharp. Here is a color version of my second entry in the B&W square Assignment. Oh, I forgot to add that the bokeh is a little weird on this because I was shooting through a fence.

And one more of the fall effect on plants

Entry #2 The alpaga

2 more cat portraits with the 180 2.8 at iso 2500.

And another one before I got there

Fog on the beach from a few years ago

Entry #1, Empty docks on a snowy day

November 7th, I manage to take the 180 out with the D700. Here are a few pics and a 100% crop. This is a sharp lens and I don't regret it whatsoever. 100% crop of 1st picture

OK, I gave up and bought the 180 2.8. This is the first picture I took with it in the pawn shop to try it out. It's sharp as a knife and has very nice bokeh as well as much lighter than the 70-200 2.8. Now I only have to wait for the right light for it.

Monthly Assignment: B&W composition in a square This month's assignment is one about composition. And what better way to compose than in Black and White. Since November is a month that is usually a bit darker any way, I thought we'd make it a bit more interesting that you purposely compose for...

Nothing spectacular on this November 4th. I did manage to take my work (old PC) computer downstairs with all my paperwork and cleaned my Mac that does photo processing. It had been a very long time since I had seen that my desktop is actually wood. I thought it was only papers for a long long time.

Didn't have much time to shoot today, but thanks to Line's bouquet I can still catch a shot here and there. Fading flowers change every day and can keep me busy during this weird fall season.

I got to the store and never got out of the car. I decided I didn't need the 180. So I did a few shots with the Rokinon (Samyang) 85 1.4.
