My daily is an abstract done for another forum challenge. It's called The end of the beginning

Just a few pics from my D700 to remind people that this is still a very capable cam.

Cat in the bag

Well, the rules were there before we used Pango on the marketplace. So I don't know if they should be re-written or not, but I'd certainly would like some clarifications. As a Mod, I'm often tempted to just remove the posts, but even I don't know anymore. Maybe the rules should be written on...

Here is my weekly contribution. I was working all week but today went to Mt Washington NH to get Line's birthday present. We got to this nice old shoemaker's shop and was allowed to take a few shots. Thanks to Peter Limmer & Sons Custom Boot Fitters for the permission to take pics. Mt...

I found this picture on Facebook and had to share it. First to prove that it's not the latest camera that decides what and how to shoot it. The person behind the lens is still the most important part of the photographic gear in the field. Have a look at this...

Re: Fuji X10. Yes I know it's not a Nikon I was just going to a meeting tonight and thought the moonshine was giving my house a nice winter look. So I took out the little X-10 out of my jacket pocket and grabbed this shot hand held. A bit of photoshop to correct the color cast of my house...

A few more shots from yesterday's walkabout. Although the poney was moving, I love the mood of this shot. Even if I would have loved to have it completely sharp, I think it adds to the relationship these two have. Going for the moon Well look at us.

There is an Ice challenge in Sherbrooke and the participants were allowed to try the course today. This is where I learned how to ski. They made an solid ice hill with it and some crazy persons are going down with normal hockey skates... Unfortunately I was using manual focus and I got about 98%...

Study for another group assignment: Schizophrenic Chroma

Yesterday's pic, reflected selfie. Notice (or not) the black tape on the white Nikon on the Df.

Frozen river, Df 35-70 2.8, from jpeg file.

Re: Fuji X10. Yes I know it's not a Nikon Architectural shot taken while at work today with the X-10

NOT FOR JUDGING because it wasn't taken with a Nikon. I only had my Fuji with me and thought about this challenge... I'll find something before the end.
