    Model release for iPhone

I need a simple model release that I can have on my phone. Snap a photo of the person and have them sign directly on the phone. I know I have heard of something like this but can't find it right now. I have a personal project that will be ongoing for a couple of years and occasionally there...

    24.1mp, will this enough to blow a picture to 10ft w x 8ft h?

Figure out what the enlargement factor is and do a small print with that enlargement factor. You will only get a small piece of the photo but that should be enough to see what kind of detail you will get. What would you be using this photo for? That will make a difference in how it will look...

    My Son and His Girlfriend

I really like this one but I would crop more of the bridge/wall off so that they are not in the middle of the photo. Like this maybe

    ISO on D7000

Just to see how far I could push things I pulled up a very old JPEG image from my D5100. It was shot at ISO 3200

    ISO on D7000

I went for a walk downtown this evening and carried my camera just because I can't walk without it anymore. LOL I did shoot a few at ISO 3200 just to see how it did. Here is one of them. NIKON D7100 35.0 mm f-1.8 1-45 sec at f - 1.8 ISO 3200 I also tried out DXP Optics Pro on this one...

    Nikon vs "The World"

We often talk about how many Nikon cameras we see vs that other brand. While in Utah and Arizona on vacation I paid attention to the cameras I saw. Nikon was probably 3 to 1 over the other brands combined. Sony and canon were pretty much tied. Of course the phones took top numbers among all...

    Red Canyon & Bryce Canyon

This was a quick stop on the way to Moab after we left Zion National Park. Red Canyon in just a stop alongside the road going into Bryce. Bryce would be a great stop if you are into hiking since it is more visible from inside instead of from above. Also scale is hard to comprehend from the...

    I'm At A Loss

I just got started with Lightroom recently in preparation for my vacation. We shot everyday for 2 weeks. Normally a morning shoot, and an afternoon shoot. On several days we had late night shoots. A lot of rocks!!! Keywords and cataloging was very important. I started recently renaming all my...

Just testing out my new (to me) 24-120mm.

I Was on a jet boat going down the Colorado river this morning going about 30 MPH when I saw this on the rocks. The D7100 and the 24-120 nailed it. NIKON D7100 - 24.0-120.0 mm f-4.0 - 1-350 sec at f - 4.0 - ISO 400

10 hours from meeting the Don

One thing I did learn today was that what everyone was thinking about MM is true. He is crazy. The rock he is standing on that has no fence or railing has a drop off of 2,000 feet. NIKON D7100 - 24.0-120.0 mm f-4.0 - 1-125 sec at f - 4.0 - ISO 125 - 38°28'12- N 109°44'25- W

10 hours from meeting the Don

Everyone is safe EXCEPT Mrs Moab. I have my sights set on her for ditching me this weekend by making up some sort of flimsy excuse. MoabMan and I had a great and long day of shooting and talking about photography. I do have a photo of the two of us that my wife shot with her iPhone.

    The shotgun approach

How many of us here that are guilty of this? Some of us old timers that shot with film and had to roll your own and process and print will remember it well
