Believe it or not, the original FTZ adapter has a firmware update. But since this is for a Z9, you would be using the FTZ-II and there is no updated firmware for that. Are you using a teleconverter here? I would try removing that from the equation if so.

I will just add these 18-55mm lenses were the kit lens included with so many camera bodies over 15 years at least. They are plenty on the used market for cheap. These often were upgraded and very lightly used.

Welcome Maximus, I did catch your photos in the other post. (y) I still do have my 1970's Minolta XD-11 kit I purchased from a sheriff's auction about 28 years ago. Have 2 very old rolls of Kodak B/W film waiting to be run through that camera.

It requires installing SnapBridge on phone. A wifi connection to camera and not bluetooth is also mandatory with the earlier Z bodies. Often phones will drop the camera connection in favor of a wifi with internet. An adjustment with the phone settings helps.
