my friend just bought a d5300, he cannot get the auto focus to work in liveview, works ok thru the eye piece, is there a setting he needs to fix?? edit, he left his manual at home

EDIT, the trees you see at the bottom of the first picture is where these birds are flying at, so cropped a bit.

2nd Nov 2014 i went up to lake hemet as it will start to get cool up there soon, 36 deg when we got there but warmed up quick. Spotted a few hawks and white tail kites hunting in the meadow beside us, no deers in sight, sun was up when we got there and the eagle came out as we got packed up...

so i used this shot to test my sensor, looks like i will be cleaning really soon. pity i liked this too....

1st Nov 2014 i had to take David to Radys Hospital in San Diego for a check up (everything ok), so as we were down there we went along to Ocean Beach to see the seahawk, but the nest was empty, so we went a walk along the pier.
