your last one @Marilynne is saldy a familiar sight for me with most birds, if there was a thread for birds rear ends i would post often in there.

@Marilynne the main difference i can see between the Hairy and Downey is the beak size, so i am going with the Downy here.

looks like the kestrel got himself a dragonfly

8th Oct 2015 i spotted the white tailed kite in a tree and doubled back to get closer, took off as i got near him.

he was just told ( @Marilynne ) that he has another two weeks before he turns into a buterfly! :D nice shot btw.

one for you Michael Jaeger at last a low light shot, i think i will go back here with my tripod to see if i can improve on this shot.
