so here it is, another 365 challenge in the bag, for me always harder when the short nights come in, but I made it. Thanks to all who have followed and gave me likes, it is much appreciated. my first picture of 2015 was a bird, so I will end my thread with this one. an orange crowned warbler

while I was shooting the ruby crowned kinglet (top pic) one flew down and landed on the open car door frame, if I had put my hand out I could have touched it, looked at me for about 5 seconds and flew of again. a cattle egret, loggerhead and something?

I spotted something big swoop into the duck pond across the fields, turn and come back our way. golden eagle, with I think was a coot.
