i know this is a canon lens, but when the lady and her husband were talking to me i noticed that both of them had push/pull lenses, is that common to canon or just older type lens???

note Ryan's stick, he collects sticks and rocks everywhere we go, he had about 10 large rocks in the bottom of the stroller, I dump them when he is in the car and I am putting the stroller in the trunk. got away with it so far.

the eagle never left its nest, another junco and a red shouldered hawk. one of the park rangers asked me if I was willing to let them use my pictures in turn for free entry into the lake/boat prices? I wonder if they would let me get ashore on the eagle's side for closer pictures??

20th Feb 2016 I took an unexpected trip up to Lake Hemet today, I had Ryan and David with me to give my wife some quiet time. in saying that, I got these 3 shots at the front door.

the song sparrow was well camouflaged there.

19th Feb 2016 the yellow rumped warbler was listening to Van Halen, Jump lol

I have been watching a few Mallards take flight @mike they get up fast in a real short space.

not be too long until they are building on this street.
