looks like i have my bird of the week of my other thread, Blue Grosbeak. i was hoping he would go down to the water, never did while we were there.

thru the view finder it looked like the black phoebe had a bug in its mouth, but just panting in the heat.

while shooting at the swallows i failed to see a white tailed kite, @#$%, sitting a few trees down, first i have seen one at SJ in a few months. the GBH was hiding in the shadows behind the reeds on the way out.

Ryan shouted a hawk daddy, i looked up and fired a few, before it crossed the sun, a juvi night heron.
