Week 35, Solitary Sandpiper. another new bird for me.

lots of dragonflies mating around here.

lots of bird watchers with scopes looking at the smaller dark birds, bairds sandpipers they told me, far out in the ponds.

1st Northern Harrier since spring, and i still suck at catching it @Kevin H

28th Aug 2016 Took a run out to San Jacinto (just for change LOL. although this was on my trash can as i left, i lifted it of and set it in the bush.

a view looking over to San Diego, you can see the bridge in the background of the second picture, so miss seeing Dave W posting shots of SD. the shipyard is to the right of the bridge

we sat at the ferry landing and had a cupcake and a soda.

after the launch we drove over the bridge to Coronado, never got near the Hotel.

a couple of small tugs wait and push the ship into the dock side.
