i spotted what i believe to be a young snipe, he thought i couldnt see him, i wish the sun was up at this stage, when back later but he was gone. had to push it to ISO 1600 to get these, well past my max limit.

25th Sept 2016. Had a birthday party in San Diego, so got up early and headed to San Jacinto, a beautiful 50F deg and got there before the sun came up. a few hand helds as i left the house.

well the Kestrel is eating a dragonfly....

i was lucky enough to spot these as they landed.

this husband and wife birding team came along way. nice plates btw.

the cattle egret were getting brave, came to about 6 ft from the car.

the second shot was supposed to look like the 3rd one, only he upp'd and flew away.

lots of Dragonflies mating today.

c things got a little better from here on, maybe i am just not used to hand held anymore and just needed to steady up??

i got too many shots like this today, i know i am shooting from the car but i have never had them this bad??
