the river is receding a little.

there must have been a good 100 geese in this field, i spotted the kestrel as i shot.

before dinner i put Matthew (our foster child) in the stroller and went for an hours walk. lake hemet got a dusting of snow.

think i saw pintails in there, definately a few shovelers.

trying to get to the bottom of the run of area i spotted these soaring overhead.

i shot the egret while driving hence the blur.

it went from a temp river to a temp lake, the bottom of this field was completely under water.

24th Dec 2016 Heavy rain all night so i paid a visit to all the flooded/run off drainage areas. this river leads to the next road.

the Sharp shinned was on the light pole across the street, to dark and i didnt get close to him before he fled.

a says phoebe.

to dark to try and catch the red winged blackbird, but i had a go anyway.

should i dig for treasure? lol
