and when i got home the waxwings were on the neighbors tree. First i have saw them in a long time.

i noticed when the pelicans landed they dunked their heads in the water, i first thought they were grabbing a fish? but now i think its an emergency stop???

i saw 3 gulls that i remembered the names of, western, ring billed and heermanns. the last bird is a ruddy turnstone, which is a new bird for me.

he tried to fly with it but it was to heavy.

once the ospreys came everthing took flight, he hovered then struck.
