twice while previosly walking around lake elsinore i have met a dog walker and he told me of a bald eagles nest close by the lake, so today i thought i would check it out.

i know i have the guy walking out of the frame but i want to show the water in the lake, just before xmas (and the rains) i had to walk a good 1/2 mile to reach the water, now its all the way to to the road/parking lot.

A couple of Horned Larks popping up and down in the grass.

spotted this one in time.

lots of Pelicans and Shovelers.

dont see many of these.

Ryan spotted this coming in, picked it up late.

25th Feb 2017 took a trip down to see what was about Lake Elsinore, just about had a Snowy Egret in my sights and Ryan threw a rock into the water and scared him off. lol the Heron had his beak open a long time?

I tried calling the Cali Thrasher, but i couldnt make him come any closer or move to the front of where he sat.

lonely flower i was talking with the owner of the dodge viper that i shot yesterday, he said he will trade it in for a Porsche GT4.

24th Feb 2017 didnt see any activity around the nest today, quite a long nest for such a small bird (bush tit).

you need to eat some spinach @mikew and get your old combo back. lol oj.

i may need to bring my branch clippers into work to get better access to this, a Bushtits nest, crappy shot but i will try again.
