so i was at one fence post, he was on the other, so 8-10ft?

he was a bit far away (only had my 300mm) so i had to persuade him to come closer. after a few calls he came up to the path.

got home and took a walk to the Burrowing Owls nest, this one is about 1/2 mile from the door.
