baby coots are growing fast.

i didnt have far to walk or wait. got closer than i usually get.

another killdeer playing injured to take my attention away from the chicks, couldnt find any btw.

16th May 2017 took a walk down to the storm drain run off area to see if i could catch the common yellow throat or the blue grosbeak. a baby bunny.

the coon bolted as soon as he saw the car.

time to shore up those nests, tide is rising.

i took lots of pics as i maybe will not see it again.

looking across the road for a nest i spotted this, a red neck phalarope ,newbie for me. this is one small bird.

i must have been to close to a nest, there were about 6 off them all squawking at me.
