i saw this popping in and out of the bushes. Female black headed grosbeak.

a juvi spotted towhee.

the green heron had flew over before i even saw it.

he never saw me coming, i had to stamp on the ground to get him to move. lots of rabbits running across the paths today.

9th July 2017 Took a quick run out to Lake Skinner and just missed a huge rain shower. 1st 2 shots of the cali towhee, looks like a juvi, but it only had one leg, hopped around a bit.

Virginia Rail walked about 2 feet from my feet.

these rails kinda sound like pigs. lol

i have noticed if you sit down outside and stay still the wildlife will be all over you, a hummer almost landed on my lens hood, butterflies were all around, rabbits checked me out (then ran away lol).

it walked about 2 foot from my feet, surprised this even came out.
