no action with the redstart so i walked around to see what else was about, saw 4 spotted towhees jumping from the bushes to the ground searching for food

Thrashers all over this place.

i could see it (binoculars) but couldnt catch it. Far away and deep in the trees . at least the sun was coming up.

30th Dec 2017 i read in the Riverside rare bird alert that a Painted redstart was about 30 miles away, so i have never saw this bird before, so off i went. i went to the location they described and waited, this cali thrasher was singing its head off.

i will go with this one seeing as i dont see them to much.

here's mine. have a soft spot for Yellow throats.

also twice spotting the Coppers hawk in the street.

haven't seen the Golden Eagle in almost 2 yrs and now i spotted it twice in about a week, got a little closer this time.
