getting closer got around the corner and started walking up the beach and it flew off

i spotted the bald eagle (about a mile away) and decided to walk around to it. (Ryan wasnt looking forward to it) its just about visible at 500mm

i think this is the Common Loon

i was surprised to see the road to San Jacinto open, with all the rain we had earlier this month i thought it would be a mud heap. Hunting season is over this week, so lots of visits planned.

i never saw the fish until PP

titmouse, i always thought these were only found at higher elevations, this was at work and sea level.
