There is no raw i work with jpeg :D i like your thinking but its a bit muddy to my eye, i have not taken it as far to try to keep the vibrancy.

When i think of the years ive spent creeping up on Herons,its great to have one at the boating lake that when i arrive it says morning Mike,if you let me feed for a while i will fly for you.:D

This one should have never made it past the trash icon but its a personnel partial satisfaction shot.keeping up with pigeons is my current challenge, nearly kept up had a series of correctly exposed blurred then it goes in front of a tree,and of course the exposure was way out.

It can be done in picasa after taking,not the most elegant solution but it can be done. You double click your picture,choose edit in creative kit,effects,focal BW then you can play,this one was done that way limited solution but fun to try. mike

When setting a custom use on the D7000 for the AE/AFL button as per instructions on page 232 I cant wok out if I can do what I want with it. I would like to be able to lock the exposure by pressing and holding (or not) the AE/AF button,without touching the shutter button,my reason is when...
