Kind of let this go by the wayside with everything going on lately. I saw these flowers alongside my house. I didn't plant them. And I don't know what they are! But, they are nice looking.

Hey Bill, if you don't have any luck finding a OEM strap then check out the Think Tank straps. I bought one of their Urban Disguise accessory assortment kit and it comes with different types of straps. I found them very handy.

Re: Weebee's 365 thread Day 131. May 11, 2014 First serious test with my pro-optic 2x converter. Out of 20 shots I had one keeper. At 600mm a mono pod doesn't really help. I'll need to carry my tripod. It was a very sunny day, so I could autofocus up to 450mm. After that it was manual.

I gave it a try with Cyberlink Photo directer 4 here I adjusted the image in RAW, throwing in a mock HDR effect. Then converted to JPEG and posted. That was easy.

It just occurred to me that I may be doing my editing a tad bit backwards. Since switching to RAW awhile back. I have been taking the RAW shots, converting to JPEGS. Then editing. Stupid question, but shouldn't I be editing in RAW first. Then converting? Seems obvious. But just wanted to clear...

Another thing I'm going to do is try out this new ball head on my carbon fiber mono pod. For some reason it just kept getting my attention when I went to my favorite camera store. It is much lighter then the other ball head I had on there.
