Re: Weebee's 365 thread Day 235. Aug.23, 2014. Went to another car show. I told myself to keep the 35mm lenses on regardless. There were a few times the 18-140 would have helped. The cars were staged tightly together. This was more of a test to see if I liked the lenses.

I decided on the newbie rating when I first joined. But I feel I can advance to the hobbyist level. Is there a way to do this?

@Fortkentdad The Hoodeye came yesterday. It works good. I mounted it to the Vello LCD screen protector. Then to my camera. It blocks the light very well. But it feels a tad uncomfortable. Perhaps I'll get used to. I do like how it helps not getting smudges on your screen though.

I took about 350 pictures yesterday, all with the 18-140. I'm pretty pleased with the results. I used it for portrait, landscape, action. All with good results.

I found out today that my Lowepro Toploader 55 AW Bag is just a bit too tight with my D7100 with grip. So, I bought a Lowepro Toploader Pro AW 70 SLR .
