Great catches Sandpatch. Here in Ohio we have two passenger trains that travel through the state both in the night and about 125 miles away. That push pull set up sure has to make it much easier. No Y or running around the train required. Love your shot of those NS locomotives leaning into...

I bet that hood liner does help. These DI engines are kind of clickety clackity. The first time I heard one I thought it sounded like it need the valve lash set. Using a fender cover shows you care. (y)

Thank you Sandpatch. That was taken with my first DSLR. A Fuji FinepixS1Pro that was Fuji guts jammed into a Nikon N60 film body. I thought of it as a Franken-camera. When Nikon came out with the D70 I sold the Fuji and moved on. All these years later and I'm back shooting with Fuji mirrorless...
