Only a few more days left for this assignment folks.

I checked Merlin and the first bird on the list was the Black Throated Blue Warbler, but none of the pictures seemed to match mine. Same for the other choices on their list.

Its mate came home I saw it drop breakfast with my eye but apparently missed it with the camera.

Its colors changed in each spot it went to

I might have caught the tail end of mating here. After one left, the other did a whole lot of shaking.

Don't know if it couldn't find its mate or if it was looking for one, but it sure was vocal!!

Yesterday at Wako Had to step way back to get all the plumage

Next stop to see the owlet. Couldn't find them, but I did spot this happy log!

Something spooked them and they never came back.
