Local car rally last weekend. Everyone was leaving as I was taking shots, so I had to work quickly. The Chevys:

Juvenile Black Crowned Night Heron bored and going for a walk.

Newly Fledged Juvenile Osprey. He landed briefly on this high power line, but the buzzing of the line did not sit well with him, so he was outa' there! :) I'll post more in my personal thread.

I know that most people probably find blackbirds somewhat unremarkable, but I think they are very pretty and interesting birds. Here are a couple of females RWBBs.

We've had way less pelicans in our area this year. I miss the big groups that we usually have.
