There is very little water that isn't covered in ice around here right now, so when this RWBB found an open area in the creek, he took a quick bath. In the last picture I imagine that he is showing me how clean he is. :)

Bohemian Waxwings are very rare in our area, but we have had big flocks of them this winter. I finally got 3 minutes with a group before they flew away.

Not my usual wildlife post, but I though this rooster in a neighbors yard was really cool looking.

How much do you use your tripod? If it gets frequent use then a new tripod might greatly improve your enjoyment and productivity.

Well, that varies quite a lot. The Towhee above was probably 10 meters or so, I'd guess. I'm really bad at estimating distance, though.
