Spotted this Gopher Tortoise off the trail. Some man walking by told us there was another one on the walkway.

The Rufous finally showed up but there were five other photographers in a better place. By the time they let me in, only got one shot before it took off.

I was told this is a Robber Bee, but it does not look like any of the images I found on the internet. @wev Edit: Right after I posted it, I found it. Southern Bee Killer, part of the Robber Fly family.
